What are the pros and cons of this company?!

The pro's are they can give you access to multiple markets you would not otherwise have access to. Their system also allows multiple quotes while entering the data once. The con's are more of what you make. I still use them extensively for BOP and WC risks despite any negatives. Leave a phone # or email and I can work with you.

It has been since late last year since I used them last. The pro's are as listed, access to markets that you otherwise would be unable to quote. The con's, when I was using them their system was not designed for one-entry data to receive multiple quotes. Next, their service (as it realted to me and my agency) was probably the worst I have ever experienced in the industry. Thus my reasons for not using them any longer. There are several other entities out there depending on your territory, e.g., Agent Secure, Insurance Noodle, Strategic Independence Agents Alliance, etc. that, in my humbled opinion, you should research in order to come to a fair and objective decision.

I had used them until they failed to renew an account. All required documents and deposits had been received they just overlooked processing. Then they would not back date when we checked on the renewal thus exposing our agency to an E&O claim. Happened twice! After that I have never used them.

I liked the property dept. especially Ms Lagaril. I used the phone, fax and email to condut business. But, they want $200 annually to stay with them. There's a ton of MGA's out there that charge $0.0. So I left.

I stopped using Superior Access. I was invoiced $200 to give them my business. This was the final straw with this company as they were the absolute worst GA I have ever done business with and I've been licensed for 31 years in Calif.

Can you give some MGA's in NJ/NY?

To me, Superior Access has one of the slickest websites out there for P&C. It seems, though, that thier business model stems from being a web company, hence some of the compaints seen on this thread. My company, Cambridge General Agency, has just finished development on a new system for rating and the ability for our brokers to see thier business, download policies, and take advantage of our new, free tools. To me, the best part is that our core goal is customer service and the web site as a supplement -- this is not to say we do not want to beat Superior Access at thier own game, but we just come at it from a different angle. Good luck, Jason Janofsky Cambridge General Agency (www.cambridgega.com) 925-300-4516
