Products pollution liability is an often overlooked exposure for manufacturers and distributors. The general liability pollution exclusion restricts coverage for products that cause pollution. The solution is a stand-alone or in-combination with GL policy that extends coverage to the insured’s product in the event that there is a pollution condition.
How does it Work:
Provides coverage for claims alleging bodily injury or property damage due to a pollution event caused by an insured's products. The coverage is designed primarily for manufacturers and distributors that handle products that could represent a pollution issue if they fail in the marketplace.
