I am hoping someone has ran into this situation and has a company that will provide insurance for a household mover (long haul) with Symbol 1 or 8. Enterprise is requiring symbol 1 or 8 and will not offer coverage through their company to our Household Movers. This takes effect for all of their leased customers beginning January 1, 2022. Progressive said no, Prime said no, along with several other companies I reached out to have declined.
I am in the State of Nevada, household mover has almost 2 years experience, with 6 months of insurance coverage-no claims-currently with Progressive.
Here are requirements directly from Enterprise-
For Commercial Auto Symbol 1 or 8 (Any Auto or Hired Autos) please indicate on the certificate: “All vehicles leased, hired or rented by the named insured from Enterprise Holdings, Inc., its subsidiary and affiliated companies, limited liability companies and EAN Trust.”
7. Scheduled auto policies are not accepted.
