there is a growing market for Surgicenters as Dr.s are grouping and building their own surgical centers that they own and do their own surgeries in. Is there a market that would write the property and CGL with professional liability for all the Dr.s and RNs and paramedicals - in a BOP ? thanks, RJ

I would think the building would be in a separate corp or LLC. so it would be bldg and lessor's risk. Then the Surgical practice be written separately for GL & prof.

There are a few companies that may be willing to write both bot not as a BOP it would be for GL and PL only. The best way to place this risk is to write the PL separate and get a standalone BOP. Contact me if you would like me to elaborate.

Depends on the ASC size and profile (% plastic surgery vs % other cases)... ARCH, C N A, Darwin, Evanston, Maxum and Admiral all can offer PL with GL...this coverage is seperate from Property coverages etc...

You can contact Doug Ely and he can you help you out with the GL and Professional. We might also be able to help you out with the property, but it would not be a BOP. You can reach Doug at (312) 879-7124 Thanks Cathy Perry Marketing Associate BISYS Commercial Insurance Services

CNA Healthpro can probably write all of the lines. If you don't have direct access, you can call Swett & Crawford in San Francisco. Otherwise, RobertCHall mentioned other viable GL&PL markets and most standard carriers will look at the Prop.
