PM called me as they are trying to force place insurance on a few of the townhomes who will not or cannot provide evidence of insurance to the assoication. My thought is that while the association does have an interest in the units, it is not an interest that can take out insurance on behalf of a unit owner. Am I wrong????? Anybody hear of something like this?

I have heard associations in Florida doing this numerous times. It is ususllay the agent that writes the Association that is doing this.
