How do you increase likes and fans on  FB business page . Is increasing the number of likes the motiv eof the page. How will one reach to a wider audiance. Any suggestions.

Are you set up with Linked In?   I believe you would get more response in that arena.

No I am not registered in Linked In. Is it helpful. I should make an account there and see how ot goes. Thanks for the advice. I believe social media has become really big these days and we need to use it rightfully to help in our business presence. 

I just did research on this for a presentation that I am giving.  FaceBook, Linked In, and Twitter are great ways to increase your connections with people and build your "virtual relationships".  Successful FB posts should educate and entertain - they are only 10% insurance and 90% fun.  Post photos or local events that you participate in or sponsor.  Run contest and trivia questions to generate daily interest.  Thank people who refer you.  Share viral posts that people are talking about.  Link online articles that reflect your interests and that of your clients.
