Does anyone know of an MGA for personal lines like auto? I only have 2 personal auto direct companies, i need to find an MGA for Mercury Travelers Allied and so on.....

Appalachian Underwriters has a program where you can get appointed with major carriers for auto. SafeCo, MetLife and Encompass are part of it. The best part is you get the carrier's rater in your office instead of having to submit applications. Not all carriers are available in all states, so I'm not sure what's in your area.

I sounds like you should get in touch with SIAA - Strategic Independant Agents Alliance they are a National Network that helps independant agents get direct access to carriers. Check out their websit www.siaa4u.net

I only have 2 personal auto direct companies, i need to find an MGA for Mercury Travelers Allied and so on.....We don't have many preferred markets either, but maybe it's better to focus on other ones instead, until you can get names like Travelers and Allied.
