Looking for a rental dwelling policy on an older home built in 1905. No remodel has been done on dwelling, and unsure of the age of any updates that have been done on the dwelling. There is current insurance on the home, but there has been a name change on the owner of the property from an estate, to the executor of the estate. Current insurance provider is non-renewing since this change occured. The dwelling has 2074 sq. ft., 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, convection heating, window ac units and a 2 car garage, which was added in 1968. Replacement cost estimate is 198000, looking for a dp3 for 100,000.00, but based on the age, a dp1 or anything would be great.

If FL has a FAIR Plan, that is probably your best bet. But don't forget to write the separate CPL (Comprehensive Personal Liability). Good Luck!

Oops - the dwelling is a rental and not owner-occupied. A CPL is not sufficient for tenant-occupied dwellings. I should have said OL&T (Owner, Landlord & Tenant) Liability. Good Luck!
