Hi everyone. I have a client that owns and pilots a jet-powered dragster car that is used as a performance act at various airshows around the country. The car has been in use and insured for the past 25 years, but the carrier is not interested in keeping the account. There has never been a claim in 25 years. The car is used in performances, not in actual drag races for speed records or the like. We need a market ASAP, as the Reno Air Race Championships are just around the corner and the car is scheduled to perform there. Premiums in the past have ranged between $250 and $400 per event, with 18 to 20 events per year across the country. What we need is the "performance liability" coverage. Will be interested to discuss the rest of the package, Business auto, GL and such if necessary to secure the per performance coverage. Business is based in Washington State. Thanks.
