Greenwood's Life Sciences commercial general liability program is designed to cater to a diverse range of target classes, including biologics, blood, milk, and tissue banks, CBD (cannabidiol) products, clinical trials, dental products, dietary supplements, durable medical equipment, health and beauty products, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and veterinary products. Each sector within the life sciences industry benefits from specialized coverage that addresses unique risks associated with research, development, manufacturing, and distribution in these fields.
Policy Structure:
Our policy structure includes Commercial General Liability, Products/Completed Operations Liability, and Professional Liability coverage tailored for the life sciences industry. We offer Claims-Made coverage with Occurrence coverage available for specific risks. Policy limits can extend up to $10 million on a primary or excess basis, with Follow-Form excess capacity also available up to $10 million, supported or unsupported as needed. Defense costs are typically included within the limit but can be considered outside the limit depending on the risk profile. Additionally, landlords, trade events, and vendors are automatically included as additional insureds, enhancing comprehensive protection across various operational aspects within the life sciences sector.

- Supplemental applications, as necessary, signed and dated by the insured upon binding
- Five-year loss runs for currently valued company, including descriptions for losses exceeding $25,000.
