Greenwood's Contractors Pollution & Professional Liability program offers extensive coverage designed to meet the specific needs of contractors. Highlights include blanket contracting operations coverage, emergency expense coverage up to the full policy limit, and restoration expenses that include betterments using Green Building Materials. The program also includes an Adverse Media coverage limit of $250,000, along with Blanket Additional Insured and Waiver of Subrogation where required by contract. Terrorism coverage is included at no additional charge, and additional features such as Pollution Rectification Expense Coverage (CPPL) and Professional Protective Loss Coverage (CPPL) are provided. Restricted classes include oil and gas drilling, tract home builders, foundation/retaining wall design or service, airport refueling and deicing operations, architectural and civil engineering firms not specializing in environmental work, and facility-based operators with chemical manufacturing, petroleum refining, or nuclear exposures, as well as environmental consulting firms generating more than 25% of revenue from Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
Premium & Retention:
- CPL - $1,000 minimum premium and retention
- CPPL - $1,500 minimum premium and retention
Policy Type & Terms
- Practice policy terms up to 2 years (CPL & CPPL)
- Wrap up (CCIP, OCIP) and project policy terms up to 3 years (CPL & CPPL) with completed operations period up to 20 years
Coverage Limits: Up to $5M per claim/policy aggregate
