International Underwriting Agency's New York Exclusive
NEC will cover both general and artisan contractors. General contractors up to 75% subcontracted work is entertained. NO PAPER GC’S. New ventures are entertained but a minimum 10% debit pricing will apply. Risks with annual revenue up to $5 million are entertained. No risk with a policy deductible greater than $5,000.
Premium: General Contractors $5,000 minimum & Artisan Contractors $2,000 minimum
Limits: Occurrence up to $1,000,000 & General aggregate up to $2,000,000
***New York Labor Law Exclusion on all policies***
Requirements to Quote/Write New Businesses:
- Completed, signed and dated ACORD application
- Completed, signed and dated Supplemental Application
- Five (5) years of currently valued hard copy loss runs
- Current Job Site Listing including Work-on-Hand
- Financial information (as warranted)
- Owners Resumes (required for all new ventures)
- Signed TRIA forms
Requirements to Renew:
- Completed, signed and dated ACORD application
- Completed, signed and dated Supplemental Application
- Five (5) years of currently valued hard copy loss runs
- Signed TRIA forms
Loss Control Process:*
- Phone survey if annual premium is less than $10k
- Onsite inspection if annual premium is greater than or equal to $10k
- Updated Loss Control every 3 years

- primary and non-contributory wording
- waiver of subrogation
- CG 20 37 for completed ops for 100% commercial projects
