Hello,

I operate a "bus company" in the midwest that carries ~ 120k passengers per year on ~150 mile trips. We do not operate "tours" which typically include some combination of transportation, lodging, meals, and activities. Therefore, we are not able to purchase travel agent insurance.

We sell bus tickets to individuals for ~$30 and turn around and charter buses from FMCSA/DOT regulated bus companies. The bus companies provide driver, vehicle, primary insurance, fuel, etc. We provide employees to assist with loading of buses and luggage and to provide drivers with directions.

All bus companies are vetted (we check them out on the FMCSA website) and we require certificates of insurance. The companies do not currently indemnify us, and I anticipate we'd have difficulty getting them to do that.

I want to purchase ~$5m GL policy, and, perhaps, coverage for our office & contents. I've had no success in obtaining such coverage through the agents I've contacted. I'm interested in talking to anyone who can provide such coverage.

Sorry, I don't write in IL so I won't be able to help. I would try Risk Placement Services, Inc. out of Peoria, IL. Call them at (309) 679-9500. Good luck.

I work a transport business allows completely set programs with vital retarders couldn't come soon enough for the ability of driver we have nowadays. A well-determined self-loader is superb however the well-determined part would be for the most part missing these days.
