Back Does a BYOB restaurant in New Jersey need to have liquor liability insurance??

I am being told from several underwriters that it is not necessary for a client of mine to have liquor liability insurance if he does not have a liquor license for the state of NJ. Most restaurants I deal with are all byob's.

If there is ever an issue they will wish they had it.

He wants the coverage but I cannot find a company that wants to insure a business that has no liquor sales?
