Looking for a market to replace USF&G's program thru HullCo. Their brush requirements were more liberal than most. As you may know the USF&G homeowners program became "admitted" in California and they no longer honor the previous appointments. The current risk I'm working on is not in the "brush" but it is close.

I write a policy with a no-admitted carrier that includes 10% Law & Ordinance, 150% Ext. Replacement Cost, and has 150 foot brush clearance underwriting guideline. If interest, please e-mail or fax me an application for a sample quote. Thank you. Susan Keller 619-445-5797, ext. 109 Fax. 619-445-8806 e-mail address: sakeller@michaelejames.com

Have you tried Cypress Point? They had a facility with State National a few years ago.

You could write with the FAIR plan and add a wrap. Monarch in San Diego does wraps. Bliss & Glennon has a program with London that is good but requires at least 200' clear of brush. Good Luck!

Depending on the home value, you may want to try going through a wholesaler that can place it in the admitted market. Home value must be over $1M. Try marketscout.com.
