I'm a new agency specializing in Commercial Insurance with a small book of business that also has the ability to write home, auto, health and life insurance. My next big step is to obtain my online agency management system. I've narrowed my search down to Doris and AMS360 with obvioius differences in set-up and monthly fees along with their own different features and add-on componets. I know both systems can manage my P/C client's informaiton and policies. But i'm not sure to what degree they can manage my health and life clients' information, track my new prospect marketing efforts or create new client quote proposals. The initial and ongoing expense is a factor in getting started but then again I also know with the right software can make my job easier and more profitable.... Has anyone used both systems to share some insight on how well they each perform?

I would suggest looking at QuickFile - they advertise in all the major industry magazines. I am a small agency - nothing beats the pricing and capabilities.

I am a small commercial shop and have been using ebixasp for 5 years now. very easy to use - can acess it any where - you can have staff anywhere in the country you can find them (my csr works in MI, I am in NY ) it can easily run your entire operation with very little trouble or issues - they some great technology and can also supply assistants who can do some of the data entry and rote work like certs that they train and manage at a much lower cost than you will get elsewhere. feel free to email any questions or call them - ask for jeff larson - good guy and would be happy to help you. mike W.

Mike W. We have been on EbixOne for years and looked at ASP two years ago. it ran really slow so we didn't move up. Did you compare other systems and if so which one? We have been frustrated with Ebix over the years buy to change vendors is a major expense and not all of our information could be transfered. Looking forward to hearing your successes with EbixASP. Agency Systems out of Texas is a Complete Agency Management System that is super easy to navigate, intuitive and VERY cost effective. I am a P&C agency with a Life and Health Agency and a consulting company. All data is on my system and can be accessed from anywhere. I am not a salesman for Agency Systems. I've been with AMS360 ASP and Applied. Too much money for the very poor service you receive. Agency Systems DOES NOT need a USERS GROUP for you to work their system. (979) 260-9702 is the phone number...worth the call! http://www.agencysystems.com/ is there website... Good Luck. Mark

I looked at AMS, Applied, and FSC. I was introduced to a product called Hawksoft which I found gave me the best combination of features and price for my small agency.
