Need LIABILITY MARKET FOR PRIVATE ROAD GOING TO SUB DIVISION IN UPSTATE N.Y.

    Hello everyone. I thank you all for your helpful advice from this forum. At this time, I am looking for a market or anyone that knows of a market that I can get a liability policy for a private road in upsate New York. One of my clients, built a sub division upstate. He had to build a private road to connect the sub divison to other roads. My client still owns the private road going to the sub diyison and he would like to purchase a liability policy covering him for his exposure from owning the road. If anyone has any experience with this sort of risk, or knows someone who does. Please, reply. Thnak you all for your assistance in the past

    Tucker- Is there an HOA that encompasses the road ? If so, just write a GL policy for the HOA. Bruce

    Thank you for reply Bruce. Its greatly appreciated. The homes in the sub division are owned individual by each homeowner. So, there isn't an HOA. Its never easy. Do you have any other advice? The road is located in upstate New York so it isn't a high traffic area. If you have any other ideas or advice, I would be indebted to you greatly. The proposed insured is a very good client of mine and is in need of assistance please. Whatever advice or referrals you could assist with would be greatlt appreciated. Thank you.
