If this fellow wasn't a friend of mine, I'd let him go find coverage elsewhere. He has a truck Ford F250 1972, and hauls only tools. Looking for an inexpensive policy for a short radius. He's been driving 20 years. Any leads appreciated.

Progressive is always an option; his credit, etc. can be helpful to getting a good rate. I'd lean on your auto markets in your agency to help you accomodate on this one as 'inexpensive' in the eyes of the customer versus the marketplace may surprise you! rb

Thank you everyone. Turns out I have a carrier that will do it, if it's only liability. I talked with the carrier and the age doesn't matter. I just couldn't get a quote out of their system on the weekend because it asked for the age of the vehicle. Appreciate the great responses, which I'll hang onto!
