Looking for a maket for a GC homebuilder.  Been building in current name for two years with no claims.  Had a previous entity that did build some condo's which seems to be a negative for some carriers. $900,000 Total Receipts and $600,000 total cost. I have accords and couple of supplmentals.  Don't want a sunset clause or hold harmless requirements. Have and Essex quote for about $9000 with taxes and fees which the insured thinks is too high.  Anyone with thoughts.

We have a program especially designed for HomeBuilders - the form is Claims Made, which shouldn't be a problem for a Contractor in the Condo segment!  Premium should be cheaper than Essex quote!

ISG has a program to insure residential homebuilders. CGL product provides full coverage for subcontractors and offers extended completed operations coverage for the statue of limitation or 10 years whichever is shorter.
