Excusearch is Recruiting a for a seasoned BROKER for either NYC or Northern NJ areas.

      Commercial Property or Casualty Wholesale Insurance Broker National privately held wholesale broker seeks Property and Casualty Underwriters/Brokers with a minimum of 5 years of related experience for our NY or NJ locations. Target candidates will have wholesale brokerage producer experience with a portable book of business or Underwriting experience with agency contacts and a proven track record of the ambition to excel. P&C license preferred.

    • 1) The ideal candidate, a heavy hitter, will entertain buying their book.. Ideally  with at least a $500k commission  (revenue book). In terms of Insurance Premium that usually equates to a $10million premium book.

      2) Or, If you come from the company/underwriting side and have retail contacts ,a book of business too but it will only be measured in premium dollars and an acceptable number could be between 5m and 10m. 

      3) Or, I would like to recruit a broker with a portable book of business. (Most of us have non-competes so that makes their book not very portable).   

      Compensation, we generally offer new brokers a salary for 2 years. on their experience, potential and whether or not they are bringing a book.  Note: If you are $1m producer we would pay  more, if the deal is right.
