I am currently using Applied Systems 'The Agency Manager' (TAM). It was recently recommended to me, by another agent, that I consider Hawksoft, http://www.hawksoftinc.com/. I've looked at their system and it appears to have the functionality of TAM with more visually agreeable display screens. The workflow is also similar. TAM's initial cost is significantly higher than Hawksoft and their monthly service cost is higher. The biggest reasons that I have not changed is because the initial cost + the monthly service charges for Hawksoft would be slightly higher than the current cost that I have for TAM. There are also some features on TAM that may not be transferable to Hawksoft and I may loose some of the client history that the system is good for. For an initial purchase I think that Hawksoft has all of the capability that TAM has.

The more expensinve, the more complex, in my opinion. You might check out Quick File.

Sagitta is great for larger books of business. AMS360 is great for those with smaller books.
