    I own an agency in California and write mostly commercial insurance. I wanted to bring on personal lines insurance to accommodate my existing clients so I went with Networked and Superior Access. I'm finding it difficult to do business with either of them when it comes to service and competitive quoting. How do I get in touch with Pacific Insurance Alliance and do they write in CA? I would also like other avenues of getting to the personal lines markets without having direct appointments. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    A&M has no minimum premium requirements and we write CPL, Homeowners, and Umbrella policies in CA. All of our markets are AM Best A rated or better. Signing up as a new producer is very easy and can be completed online.

    Submissions can be made via fax, online, or over the phone. Our personal lines underwriters are available at extentions 250 and 260, M-F 8:30-5:00 PST.

    A&M also has many markets for your commercial business and hard to place risks. If you have any questions regarding our services, please call me directly.

    I would go to PIB it is another cluster, however it is cheaper than NIA and you get on line access to all the carriers. Contact Kirby Wells at 916/ 635-6760 Tell him Debbie A had you call. Kirby is on the board of PIB.

    Try Partners Specialty Group...they have offices in CA, and can handle personal and commercial lines countrywide, as well as internationally, so might be worth a call...

    You may also wish to call them just to use them as a resource...I've found they are very helpful and not afraid to point you in the right direction and offer advice...

    Also, Chubb has a wholly-owned subsidiary that wholesales Chubb's P/L products. I don't have the phone number handy, but, I know ot does exist.

    I am Regional Manager for the Iroquois Group. We are a National Network of 1,800 agents. We provide Direct Access to major and regional Personal and Commercial carriers (as compared to the other models). We do not charge an upfront fee or other fees.
